Job Description:

The Programme Manager will be responsible for monitoring & designing training programmes focused on underprivileged children’s career development. The role requires experience in community engagement, capacity building, and handling sensitive social environments and also finding job opportunities for the children

The role requires an individual who is proactive, analytically driven, and deeply committed to social impact.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operations in assigned locations

  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

  • Build trust and rapport with children, parents, and local community members

  • Conduct periodic reviews and feedback sessions

  • Ensure smooth execution of training from start to finish

  • Handle last-minute changes and troubleshooting during programme

  • Plan and schedule training sessions/workshops

  • Coordinate with trainers and participants

  • Ensure availability of training materials and infrastructure

  • Track trainee attendance, progress, and completion. Maintain training records, MIS data, and program reports

  • Measure programme impact and tracking systems to ensure all data is accurate and properly in place. 

  • Managing the programme end to end 

  • Proactively identify and facilitate job and livelihood opportunities for programme graduates.

  •  Track placement outcomes systematically and conduct post-placement follow-ups to assess and document sustained impact.

 

Qualification Required:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Social Work or Rural Development

  • 2–5 years of experience in working NGO and other related field

  • Experience managing large teams is an advantage

  • Demonstrated experience in programme management & community engagement

  • Ability to handle children with patience and empathy

  •  

    Preferred  Languages: Fluency in English, Tamil & Hindi
