In this full-time, maximum term role, you’ll work as a part of our Solomon Islands Knowledge-Action-Sustainability for Resilient Villages (SOLKAS) project team in Honiara, Solomon Islands to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Program Quality and MEAL Manager for the SOLKAS project plays an important role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children.
You will make a difference by:
- Overseeing, leading and advising on program quality for the SOLKAS project
- Developing and leading implementation of the project’s MEAL framework, including ensuring a robust community feedback mechanism
- Identifying and responding to the program quality and MEAL support needs of staff within the project team
- Engaging with project staff, partners, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of evidence building, knowledge sharing and learning
- Leading program quality and MEAL reporting for the project, both internal and external

This role requires:
- Demonstrated experience (6+ years) in program quality, monitoring and evaluation, research, and assessment of projects in development contexts, preferably in the Pacific.
- Proven skills in research design, quantitative and qualitative methods and analysis, data collection tool design, complex sampling approaches, and statistical analysis skills .
- Demonstrated knowledge of data collection and analysis programs, including the ability to code tools for KoBoToolbox using .xls forms, analyze data using Excel and present data in PowerBi.
- Familiarity with gender analysis approaches and methods.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills with the ability to write clear and effective assessment and project reports in English.
