About

“Smiley Children Society” is an NGO that spreads happiness among hopeless and underprivileged families through education, food, clothing, medical aid, and orphan support.

The founder, Mr. Prudhvi Moses, made his first donation of notebooks from his own pocket money (₹36 INR / $0.50) to a poor boy in his locality at the age of 12 (in 2007) while in 7th grade. From that moment, charity became a way of life. With the help of his school friends, he later collected money and purchased a full stationery kit costing ₹375 INR (~$5), giving wings to the vision in different forms.

In 2008, Mr. Moses and his classmates (seven members) donated exam kits to poor children. By 2009, he and 8 friends started taking care of 4 children entirely, supporting them until they completed their 10th grade.

Later, they collaborated with the Mandapeta Municipal Commissioner to identify uneducated children in slum areas. Their data helped counsel parents, resulting in 80% of those children enrolling in government schools. Today, many of them are doctors, engineers, nurses, teachers, and more.
