Mai Hoon Dhanbad

Mai Hoon Dhanbad (MHD) is a non-profit organization dedicated to inclusive and sustainable development in Dhanbad and neighboring regions, working in the areas of health, education, livelihood, road safety, environmental protection, women empowerment, sanitation, disaster relief, sustainable development, and community welfare, with a vision to build a self-reliant, safe, clean, equitable, and inclusive society for all; the organization was inspired during the COVID-19 pandemic in May 2020 while supporting patients with oxygen cylinders and hospital beds, and further motivated after a tragic incident under Gaya Pul, Dhanbad, where a patient lost life in an ambulance due to traffic congestion, leading the team to actively work for public welfare and road safety, and was formally registered on 22nd February 2023 under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860, with a mission to empower vulnerable and socially deprived communities through awareness, education, healthcare, environment protection, career counseling, livelihood promotion, women and child rights protection, cleanliness, sustainable agriculture, networking, advocacy, and initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) without any discrimination.
